Spiritual Abuse
Spiritual Abuse of Children
As we all know there is only one specific Commandment by God for Children and that is to 'Honour your father and mother'. The Family Court process frequently drives children to show extreme levels of disrespect to one of their parents. Any person who allows this to happen is going against God's wishes ie 'if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin' Matthew 18:6
Some people might say children psychologically controlled are not sinning because it is not their free will. What about children who get psychologically pressured to steal a car ? Do they sin ? Most of us that understand the pathology have the greatest empathy for the victim children even when they become adults.
Dr Richard Gardner conducted hundreds of family assessments to be used in child custody cases prior to and post the introduction of no fault divorce and he noticed the emergence of a campaign of denigration exhibited by the affected children against the other parent. https://richardagardner.com/ar22
This 7 minute video explains well how the aligned parent takes control of the child's mind and uses them as an instrument of spousal abuse.
In this 6 minute video this Australian victim tells her story of how she remained a victim of the pathology as an adult and through multiple marriages.
In this 31 minute video Dr Alyse Price Tobler outlines how she escaped from the pathology at age 30 after therapy from a psychologist.
This aligned parent used psychological pressure to have the child help him murder her mother.
Dr Craig Childress has formulated a diagnostic checklist for assessing Pathogenic Parenting/Child Psychological Abuse which shows the disrespect a child affected by the pathology displays for his/her rejected parent.

When the rejected parent has been rendered powerless to save the child's psychological and spiritual welfare there are always other people who have been entrusted to safeguard the child's spiritual welfare:
-local church;
-school teachers (if a faith based school);
-school psychologist (if a faith based school);
-school religious teachers/clergy;
-Godparents;
Others are entrusted to protect children from psychological abuse:
-Doctors and Paediatricians (sadly most will dispense ADHD medication to young children before they consider Child Psychological Abuse);
-child Counsellors;
-child Psychologists;
-child Lawyers;
-Parenting Co-ordinators;
-family report writers;
-Registrars, Magistrates, Judges;
-Department of Child Protection officers (protect from emotional abuse)
Do they know what has happened ?
Do they care ?
Do they see it as their role ?
A forward thinking church/school would see that a church and school that protected children from this form of abuse would actually attract more students. A school that doesn't will most likely be breaching Government laws against making misleading or deceptive statements because most faith based schools make strong claims on their websites that they are safegaurding the spiritual welfare of their students.
If your children go to a faith based school get other parents educated about the problem. Talk to teachers, school psychologists and clergy. Give a presentation to the school board as did this heroic parent.
Preventing Spiritual Abuse of children could be aided by having a category of progress in religion on children's school reports to remind teachers and school psychologists that they need to check for Spiritual Abuse.
The damage from psychological abuse can last a lifetime. Psychologically abused children will have increased incidence of adverse medical events as determined by the study into Adverse Childhood Experiences known as ACES. Some children will grow up and remain in a state of psychological abuse their entire lifetime.

Parents to be, have to do everything they can to protect their children from this terrible form of abuse. The community needs to see this is a problem that affects so many people, not just the ones close to them but the whole community.
