Family Court
FAMILY COURT – 5 FACTOR MODEL OF HARM
CAUSES PARENTS TO MURDER THEIR CHILDREN
Coroner's finding of Western Australian mother who murdered two of her daughters and took her own life:
'The evidence make clear that parties to Family Court proceedings [sic] can be subjected to intense, ongoing stress. It is also clear that such stress, along with cannabis use was a contributing if not precipitating factor of Ms Glendinning's psychosis'
CAUSES PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA & SPIRITUAL ABUSE
The process drives parents to co-erce their children to reject a parent. Children wish to love and respect both parents. If pushed too far they psychologically split and one parent becomes demonic and the other angelic as Dr Childress explains:
'It is a symptom called "splitting" - a polarization of perception into extremes, either all-good or all bad - and the all-bad split moves to demonic... because it is extreme. That is the symptom of splitting.
It is characteristic of pathological narcissistic pathology and borderline personality pathology - it is created in a particular type of childhood trauma exposure. It is a neurological pathology; splitting.
In this pathology, the symptom of splitting is captured in Diagnostic Indicator 2, the last symptom of the narcissistic traits. I listed it last because it is one of the most important of all the symptoms, I gave it a special place - first and last are special places in lists.
On the narcissistic symptoms I gave first place to the grandiosity, because I want to highlight the inverted hierarchy of the child judging a parent. Second, I listed the absence of empathy. This, and the delusion, are the two most important symptoms for the pathology.
As a single symptom though, splitting is the most important. It unlocks and unravels everything.
You are correct. It is very distinctive isn't it, the demonization quality.
Most often spitting is masked by a warm and wonderful demeanor when the other half of the split is on display - the all-wonderful. During the all-wonderful presentation of the split, the person is charming and bright. Only when the split is triggered does the demonic aspect of the polarized perception take charge.
The borderline personality shifts from all-wonderful to demonic happen more rapidly than the narcissistic expression of splitting. The narcissistic expression is more stable, such as pathological racism and antisemitism.
In your family, the splitting pathology is displayed by the child... but held by the allied parent. It is the allied parent's childhood attachment trauma that created the splitting pathology in the neurological networks of the attachment system. When the allied narcissistic-borderline parent psychologically controls the child, the child acquires the attitudes and beliefs of the parent - hence we see the splitting pathology displayed by the child.
Does the child have splitting? No. The splitting pathology comes from a very specific type of childhood attachment trauma. The current child was not exposed to that type of attachment trauma.
Then where does the splitting displayed by the child come from? From the allied parent who is influencing and psychologically controlling the child.
People think this is a difficult pathology to diagnose. It's not. It is simply the profound professional ignorance - profound - in forensic psychology. Parents might as well ask their plumber to diagnose the pathology as a forensic psychologist. Splitting.
Another characteristic feature of splitting is a lock-in rigidity. An extreme inflexibility. Sound familiar? Are your children showing an extreme flexibility?
Listen to this description of splitting by Marsha Linehan (who developed DBT therapy for borderline personality disorder):
From Linehan: "Things once defined do not change. Once a person is “flawed,” for instance, that person will remain flawed forever.” (Linehan, 1993, p. 35)'

As we all know there is only one specific Commandment by God for Children and that is to 'Honour your father and mother'. The Family Court process frequently drives children to show extreme levels of disrespect to one of their parents. Any person who allows this to happen is going against God's wishes ie 'if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin' Matthew 18:6

'is driven by a false belief that the rejected parent is evil, dangerous, or not worthy of love.' page 1228

AWARDS SOLE CUSTODY TO PSYCHOLOGICALLY ABUSIVE PARENTS
'I have found previously that the mother’s false allegations against the father, and her involvement of the children in those allegations, constituted emotional and psychological abuse of the girls. As undesirable as it may be from the father’s perspective, the potential for the children to continue to suffer emotional abuse by the mother in this manner diminishes if the children do not spend any time with the father' Wang & Dennison (No. 2) [2009] FamCA 1251
Dr Craig Childress quotes the American Psychriatric Association:
“If the relationship with the primary case is interrupted, the delusional beliefs of the other individual usually diminish or disappear.” ( 2000, p. 333)
'The worst thing we can possibly do is leave a breached attachment bond un-repaired' Dr Craig Childress
Psychologists have a duty to protect the child explains Dr Craig Childress.
In cases of child abuse we never leave the child with the abuser.
COST AND ACRIMONY CAN BE EXTREME AND DRAG ON FOR YEARS AND DECADES
'...the parent goes in claiming to be supporting the best interests of the child when in fact what they are trying to do is further their own agenda...the child is just a pawn....litigation destroys a families ability to work anything out together...' Judge Michael Scopelitis
